I am desperately trying to find a reason to buy these books. They make me happy. I want to eat them. Obviously the illustrator went to Rhode Island School of Design and now lives in Seattle, obviously. I am trying to come up with a reason why I need these children’s books for myself. Oh sure Addy likes them too, but she doesn’t appreciate their amazing-ness. About 15,589 of my friends are having babies right now, but I don’t think their babies are exactly ready for reading. Although you never know. I have some really smart friends. Never fear I think I have, just now, finally come up with an excuse to buy these for someone. Hoot hoot.

It might be a little bit til she fully appreciates it, but until then, the rest of us can enjoy the darling illustrations! Thanks for the tip.
