I realize these are the best days of my life. I do. But honestly, sometimes they just plain stink. For example, we are so incredibly busy. Soooo busy. On top of that I am working, feeding a family, managing finances, managing schedules and attempting to get into Graduate School, and successfully not cleaning my messy house. Then, add in a little sassyfrass 4-year-old-know-it-all-I’m-only-doing-what-I-WANT-BUT MOM!, and some days you just want to throw in the towel and hide.
She’s stinkin cute though, I have to give her that. Her new thing, is to do this huffy, growling noise that I WISH I could capture on video just to torture you into hearing, then maybe you will sympathize with my plight. She definitely doesn’t win in the patience category. The girl cannot handle it when she can’t figure something out. We made a chart today so she can win prizes, and such, if she does her chores. I asked her later in the day to tell Andy about our chore chart, and she says, “Um it’s just a chart. I just a gotta learn patience.” Stealing the words of Addy, this is gonna be fun.

To Alisha and Jamie. I am trying, really trying to “cling to the good” as you say.
