I always thought I loved fall. The leaves, the crisp air, and yummy fuzzy sweaters. But I am now beginning to reconsider. The fall happened so fast this time around, and it seems so much colder than my memory. Not sure if that says much about my memory. Fall for me has brought stress; the swine flu, deadlines, colds, a seemingly increase in busyness. I would like to say I am thriving under it all, but the truth is I am hiding. Watching stupid tv shows, eating chocolate and avoiding my all too important secondary applications (I know, a rookie mistake!). I will give myself a short window of procrastination, then it’s to the mattresses. Oh Meg Ryan, we miss you in the movies. At least I do.
Thank goodness for this pie and bread for helping soothe the way with a little down home comfort food. Make these rolls, seriously. I will say it again, make them and you will never regret it. The look even better in person. And please make the pie, use fresh apples and leave off the caramel sauce. Caramel sauce just plain makes me uncomfortable. Eat the rolls and the pie together, well maybe not together, but you get my drift. The other silver lining of my life: New Boots. Glorious new boots of the shade cognac. Just the word makes me a believer. Loving them. I couldn’t have asked for a better husband, thanks for the boots love.

I second your love for Meg. I could watch You’ve Got Mail on repeat every single day and don’t get me started on French Kiss. I hope your Fall gets better and your little ones are healthy. I want to see the boots. I have to go with Flats this season so I am on a search for sexy flat boots…thank goodness they happen to be in style.

Also, I tried on some of the forever 21 skinny jeans…really didn’t work for me the way they do for you. I’m glad Addy’s better, miss you. xo.
Ash - they are sooo good. As far as the jeans, I am surprised. I think with Forever 21 it is all about luck. Half the crap I tried on was wayyy too small. Miss you too!
Hooray for the following: Meg (you’ve got mail is practically stuck in my dvd player), rolls, pie, and new boots. Make some Coco, take some comforting sips, and hang in there, Momma! Just think winter is just around the corner…haha. JK don’t think about that, but be prepared - the time change is this weekend.
Ugh, the time change. Almost forgot about that. I will say that it will be nice to get up when it is light out with my early school schedule.
I want to see the new boots.
