The county fair, oh how we love you. Well, I am exaggerating. We did enjoy our few hours there and might I say a few hours is oh so plenty for me. It proved to be a lovely day in Spokompton with a little breeze and awfully sunny. Can I just say, what other venue in the world can you get your children fingerprinted in case they get abducted, eat fried food, see a table for spokanedemocrats.org, witness 4H judging, and smell an awful lot of cow shit? It was not seedy at all, pretty clean and a lot of fun. Addy had a blast. We only let her go on 3 rides, for we are so mean, for the price of $10 dollars. You could buy a day pass for unlimited rides for $30 bucks a piece, my only question is WHY would I want to spend an entire day at the fair??? Barf. We packed lunches and got an elephant ear and a snow cone and managed to get out of there for about forty bucks. We are determined to enjoy Spokane getting out as much as possible as a family and together. Yes, I did come home and eat a corn dog. I’m not lying.
**I wish I could upload Addy’s photo (stored on a floppy disc) that they took at the table for helping-find-your-child-when-they-are-abducted. She looks like she already HAS been abducted. Real funny. Heck it was free.**
