We took our kids camping up to Lake Wenatchee a week or so ago. We love camping and particularly camping with friends. Addy was great, her inquisitiveness and love for being dirty makes her an ideal camper. Owen was a little more difficult, watching him around the campfire and such, but he was a trooper. They were both filthy by the end of the trip. Somehow I only brought like 1 change of clothes for each of them!?! Overall, It was a great 2 day mini break from studying. We took Andy’s dad’s truck, little did we know that the air didn’t really work. The car ride home was four hours in 89 degree weather with the kids baking in the back cab. Poor guys. They eventually fell asleep, at the 3 hour mark, from sheer exhaustion from screaming the entire way home. Yikes.
