I returned home to a new baby. We were only gone ONE WEEK. He has double the teeth, says words like mama, dada, papa, nana, kitty, bath tub, duck, quack quack and uh oh. They don’t really sound like the actual word, but you get the drift. He is practically running everywhere. He can go up and down stairs. He plays games, dances and acts silly. Most of the time you can find him walking around with a binky in his mouth and one in his hand for good measure. My very own Maggie Simpson. What a cutie. Even if he is attached to my hip he is still damn cute. I admitted to myself that he is actually 15 months old now so I should probably stop giving him bottles during the day, and well, at night too. So I took the plunge, expecting the worst since he really likes his bottle. He took it pretty well. A few tantrums in the morning, but I’m not a morning person so I don’t blame him. After 5 minutes he realized he actually was hungry and chugged the sippy cup like a pro. It is nice to have a child that is meeting developmental milestones on time/early. No offense to Addy, it just made us more anxious for her at the time.
Also, what is up with Owen’s teeth! The weirdest shapes and sizes I have ever seen.
Obviously this IS the life. That was her second popsicle for the day. I’m soooo cool.
