I stayed up way too late last night. We had friends over for drinks and randomness. I stayed up till 1230am and I had to work today. Not the smartest of moves, but I did a shot of jameson and was feeling good. At any rate, we had a great time. Nothing like being able to hang out with andy and our friends at the same time -it’s a novel idea for us since we usually don’t get out together. So, I went to bed way too late only to wake up way too late. I was rushing out the door, hopped in the car, and after getting on the freeway I found my car unwilling to accelerate despite forcefully pushing on the gas pedal. Yes, there was gas in it. I broke down around here, which turns out to be a FABULOUS place to have your car say it hates you. I found myself on a largely inadequate shoulder in a full blown panic. After frantic calls and freak outs, I managed to call 911 and have an officer come park behind me, he really was the nicest guy. If you have ever been on the west seattle bridge then you know how fast people drive, and it was really foggy this morning at 645 am. I do have to express my total devotion to AAA. Although we had not renewed our policy, we were able to renew it right then and they still sent a tow out, at no extra charge.
It’s for sure our radiator (which andy replaced successfully 6 months ago), and possibly our transmission which will be $800 — used. Feeling real good right now. I think I need another shot of jameson, daily that is. Come on obama. Please fix my transmission/radiator combo and you can fix my broken ice dispenser while you’re at it too. I am for real going to bed.
ps. thanks again stacy for bringing mini heart shaped krackel’s. I just ate 4 of them and I feel a little better. I think I have a disease that prevents me from going to bed before 1opm.

thankfully it was just our radiator. Only $350, which sadly was a relief.
