addy don’t touch

Finally we got out!  Geesh it took long enough.  We bundled up the kids, hopped on the bus and headed to art walk tonight.  I have never been to artwalk (gasp!).  We could have turned around right after we got there, Addy was in heaven just riding the bus.  She’s so easy to please.  Not to mention we actually took 2 buses and one of them went in a tunnel — we really scored big point for the bus-tunnel combo.  It turned out to be a nice evening, not too cold.  We stopped off at zeitgeist for a latte, newcastle and mini cupcake (guess who had what).   What a refreshing and fun outing for less than $10 (I am on the ad campaign for artwalk, can’t you tell?).  We are sad and pathetic for neglecting to bring our sucky camera, therefore we have no sucky pictures to post. 

As we are thinking and preparing to move to Spokane it really hit us tonight how much we love this city.  We are so grateful that we can take a bus to a fabulous downtown and walk around looking at art with 2 kids in tow.  The excitement of career achievements is waning with our increasing sadness to leave behind many things we hold dear.  We love you Seattle.  BFF.
