So we took our kids to a new years party. I am bit crazy I know. I mean come on, a bunch of slightly intoxicated adults thrown in with 2 small kids. what could be better?? everyone had just enough to drink and thought is was cute to see kids running around. let’s face it, they are addy’s friends too, she should be allowed to party with them. Besides it’s sorta communal in a way, right? The reality of our lives is that if we don’t take our kids then one of us has to miss out or we take turns which kinda bites. Surprisingly we made it pretty late. I think I left sometime around eleven at which we were all melting down. Unfortunately I had to work both New Year’s Eve and New Year’s Day.

good for you guys…bringing the kiddos along for an evening w/ friends. I don’t think we have any idea how much our lives will change in the coming year, but we hope to adopt your “just bring ‘em along strategy. time will tell:)…I’m sure we have a lot to learn.
wish we could have seen you over Christmas break. we’ll call the next time we’re in Seattle.
