Growing up in church we had to call Halloween “fall festival” due to the inherent evil-ness. Isn’t that weird? We always trick or treated though, always with huge pillowcases. We actually contemplated going to a neighborhood church’s fall festival, for the bouncy house and $1 hot dogs of course, but after a few drinks felt it would be slightly inappropriate. Sorry Eastside Christian Fellowship, maybe next year.
We had a lovely time and I am thrilled that I got the day off. Addy dressed up in last year’s elmo outfit since we really didn’t take her out last year. She was a hit. We didn’t see any other Elmo’s and all the other kids kept saying, “hey there’s Elmo!” Owen was a token Tigger, but cute nonetheless.
We finished the evening with a wonderful worm pudding nightcap. A truly wonderful dessert when you are 3.
Andy and I are starting to look like we are 30.
A serious Tigger
She licked that root beer barrel for a solid hour. Yum.
Tiger Doctor, it’s not supposed to make sense
