I have finally done it. Those of you who really know me, in a strange way, know that I have needed this for way too long. Long story involving an eight year old, a jump rope, a bike and a roller racer. I am one reason why production of these has ceased.
Well, today was a glorious day for me. Here is an actual picture of what I had shoved in my mouth. All went well and it was very fast. I went to my neighbor’s work and she was kind enough to give me some laughing gas. Foolishly I did not fill my vicodin prescription, thinking i was tough. Hence, I sent Andy running to the drug store when we got home.
I am thrilled.

Yeah! I am so happy for you Kat. In a strange way, fixing your tooth represents a transition in my mind–a transition out of poverty and into dental bliss. Plus, you never have to think of Angie Dugan ever again (was that her name??).
Ya Hoo Kat! Although it makes me a little sad because every time I think of you I think of how we always freaked people out with that:) Well I think of you and your retainer tooth and us being runway models when we should have been practicing volleyball! So happy for you:)
You are brrrrrraaaaaaaave! Yikes…anything relating to dental work freaks me out. Congrats!!!
Ha. it was angie dugan. I hated her for years afterward.
I am a bit sad to lose my one good trick. I have to wait 4 months for it to heal so until then I can still play tricks.
aimee, just get laughing gas. makes the whole world seem bright. i think i was smiling the whole time during the procedure.
Hilarious…That would have been a sight!
kat! i didn’t even know you were having that done! you are brave. i hate the dentist so much!!! hope you are feeling better.:)
Wow…I am speechless. I can still remember the day you came running into our small house, mouth full of blood. I think I was doing cheer moves or something in the front yard. All I can say is well done sister, well done! You deserve it.
