on a lighter note from last post…
so, we’re in physics lab studying electrostatics today (blah, blah) which involved a little bit of fur (no need to understand why).
this barely twenty-ish girl from class walks up to front desk to gather her lab supplies.
girl: “OMG, what is that!”
Teacher: “uh, i don’t know rabbit or squirrel. why, what’s wrong?”
girl: (with gusto) “um, I’m for animal rights” (then said again for emphasis)
the cool russian teacher looks at me and my friend– all of us barely containing ourselves.
girls walks back to her desk holding her squirrel/rabbit with 2 glass rods as chopsticks, avoiding all physical contact with the vile creature (who was probably roadkill). cuz, she’s for animal rights. actually i’m pretty sure they were slaughtered just so our esteemed physics lab could use them to talk about electricity and charges.
my singular thought: man I feel old.
cheers to fun with physics and fur, and more importantly to animal rights.
