I thought it would end, but it won’t! After 6 months of potty training my child will still not tell me when she has to pee. Shouldn’t she be able to say, “hey mom, need to go pee.” It just doesn’t seem too high an expectation. Hence we are not even on the road to potty training at night.
I just went Costco and bought the number 6 diapers. For those of you nonparentals, that is the largest you can go. For the greater than 35 lbs crowd. I really pray that they don’t make any higher numbers. I fear I might combust. I have all these good intentions of putting her in potty training underwear for naps/bedtime but my laziness wins. I start imagining the laundry, wet sheets, and more wet clothes…
I was reading up on potty training on the www and some mom was saying she woke her kid up every 3 hours at night to make him pee. She must be crazy.
Other than my potty training woes, I am just flat out tired. We went to the zoo today but after 30min Andy and I were both so tired that we decided to leave. My days are filled with thoughts of coefficients, thermal expansion and the behavior of gases. Feel free to call if you can’t fall asleep and I will assist.
I can’t complain too much. Though busy, we are healthy and enjoying our children. Full of planning and scheming for the future.
Currently I am being fed crackers and raisins by my 3.5 year old saying “open da mouth mommy”.
Did I mention she had quiet time in her room today for over an hour. Ahhh.
