changes

Well. We did it. We finally moved Adalyn down to the basement into her new room and we moved Owen into his own room!  We aren’t sure yet what to do with ourselves. I keep going into my room keeping the light off.  I miss him a little, but as most of you know our room is about 5 feet away from his.  I don’t like to attach too many pictures but here are a few of Owen and Addy’s new room.  She is so laid back. She was thrilled with her new room.

We spent last weekend cleaning out our house and getting rid of extra furniture that was clogging our house. Thanks Bonnie and Jim!!!  We had to do a dump run which caused some guilt (we threw away a couch)!  What could we do? Even Goodwill wouldn’t take it. Probably because Addy peed on it one too many times. The unending joy of potty training.

We are all totally in love with Owen.  He just smiles all day (mild exaggeration). Thankfully he doesn’t crawl too fast, yet, so I can keep an eye on him, but I have definitely needed to baby proof much earlier than expected.  We probably shouldn’t have let him chew on the vacuum cord, oops.  He turns 6 months tomorrow!  We are really wishing time would slow down a bit. I haven’t wanted to feed him solid food because it just makes him seem older and I want him to stay a baby.  I have already begun talking about how I want another baby.  I know!  My resolve lasted only 6 months.  I think it mostly relates to how much we are enjoying Owen.  Adding a third just seems no big deal now.  Nonetheless, we are waiting for a while or never???

Things are going to get crazy for the Wakefields’ for a few months.  Andy is job hunting and then we have to daycare search and I start  a physics class next week that is 4 days a week. I will be working every weekend which pretty much stinks, but just for 2.5 months.  At any rate, if you can’t get a hold of me, now you know why.

Come and visit us!!  You can sleep on Addy’s mini bed with its super comfortable crib mattress.
