a day in the life

in family, things we like

I never seem to write about what we do in life. probably because we don’t do anything really exciting.  today was no different.  we started the day early — 6:00 for addy and 6:30 for owen.  we really hate getting up early.  adalyn commenced watching cartoons in her sagging diaper (gross).  I picked up stuff, typical. andy slept on the couch (again, typical) and owen played on the floor.  then we thought, ooh let’s go to top pot!  so we went and had lovely, sugary doughnuts and delicious coffee. afterward we walked 5 or 6 blocks to old navy to check out some cheap clothes, but bought none.  on our way home we decided to make a “quick” stop at the thrift store.  i found a cool vintage ring, pants for addy, and andy got a couple more western shirts (did he really need more??).  my most favorite purchase was a paper shredder!  i am thrilled about the shredder. i have really been itching to shred some old documents.  what could be more gratifying than thwarting those lurking identity thefters.  take that!

the next best part; my children are napping.
