If you haven’t seen American Idol finale, don’t keep reading (Sorry Holli!!)
I shouldn’t be surprised. But seriously??!! I haven’t been this disappointed in America’s ability to vote since waking up on Wednesday November 3rd, 2004.
It makes me real proud that almost as many people voted during the finale of American Idol as voted in the 2004 election. If the voting age was lowered to 13, I’m pretty certain we’d see Cook & Archuleta in the White House next January. I’d put my money on them doing a better job than this guy. And since this blog post seems to be about declaring my love for American Idol and offending as many people as possible, I might as well say that I love Idol more than this guy.
P.S. Yes, this blog isn’t just about parenting. We’ll definitely cover politics and, even more importantly, reality television. Bonus points will be awarded for posts that cover all three.
UPDATE:
While taking out the trash at work tonight I saw Mr. David Cook’s picture covered in a certain unmentionable substance (I work at a homeless shelter, use your imagination). This made me very happy.
A few moments later the certain unmentionable substance leaked all over my shoe. This, once again, made me very unhappy.

Ok so I just ruined it for myself as the finale airs tonight over here! But unlike you I am excited! Cook was so much better then heavy breathing Archuleta….:) Though we might not agree on the IDOL we agree about the others!:)
